When your ADHD symptoms hold you back, check to see if you have these anchors in place:
- A strong advocate you can talk with – someone who believes in you
- Honesty about ADHD’s impact in your life – the good and the not so good
- Openness about your challenges at school with your teachers, family and friends
- Willingness to take the “driver’s seat” in your life – be accountable for your successes and challenges
